Effect of Poly(Titanium Oxide) on the Viscoelastic and Thermophysical Properties of Interpenetrating Polymer Networks

The influence of poly(titanium oxide) obtained using the sol-gel method in 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate medium on viscoelastic and thermophysical properties interpenetrating polymer networks (IPNs) based cross-linked polyurethane (PU) poly(hydroxyethyl methacrylate) (PHEMA) was studied. It found that both initial organo-inorganic (OI IPNs) have a two-phase structure by methods dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). electron microscopy (SEM) showed presence increases compatibility components IPNs. an increase content leads to decrease intensity relaxation maximum for PHEMA phase effective crosslinking density due partial grafting inorganic component acrylate. shown topology has significant effect behavior OI IPNs samples. According SEM, uniform distribution matrix is observed without aggregation.
